 Futures Account Transfer

You may electronically transfer cash and futures positions from an existing account at another Futures Commission Merchant (FCM). The time it takes to complete an electronic transfer of these assets depends on your FCM.

Quick Account Transfer
Usually, a full transfer from another futures brokerage firm takes 3 to 4 business days to be completed.

Transferring your account, positions and funds to Variance Trading has never been so easy.
Variance Futures will take on this task for you. With your written authorization, Variance Futures will help with all of the necessary paperwork and help complete the switch from your old broker.

Important Note: The title of your Variance Futures/Penson GHCO account and the title of the account from the FCM which you are transferring funds must match exactly, or the transfer will not be valid.

How to make the transfer:

1. Download, complete, and sign the Customer Account Transfer Form below.

2. Send us the filled Account Transfer Form by:

  • Fax: Fax it to our Accounts department at (312) 922-9178

Instructions: This form can only be submitted to transfer an account from a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM). Funds from a Securities account cannot be transferred to a Variance as a Futures account. If you would like to transfer funds from a Securities account, please see instructions for "Wire Transfers" above.
